Darkness Awaits is a Mature Non-Canon Anita Blake RPG. The location of the City is in busy Washington DC. We all think of the congressmen as Blood Suckers, but what would we do if they really knew who ran this country?

It's the year 2009. With the changes in the human world, so changed the Master of the City. So with the election of a new president came a new Master (despite the election being a little... different). This vampire had been a playboy for over 900 years and now it seems is the time for him to settle down. Time for him to become more serious about the comings and goings of the City, his kindred vampires and fellow preternatural creatures. Armand has high hopes that along with his Animal Servant he will rule the city and create a secure powerbase in his own right.

At the same time the wolves defy tradition and the Ulfric they have had for the last five years, shocks throughout the world. The Ulfric of the Ragnarök Varou Clan is female. At first it seemed her life was going well as a new male entered her life, possibly destined to become the Lupa of the pack. But he disappeared and the Ulfric's heart was shattered. She has now become a more ruthless person, a more caring, yet controlling leader and there is no man that can change her from what she is.

As with the vampires, the felines had received new leaders and the alliance between the Dei Sanguini Lions and the pard looks to be quite rewarding on either end. Both leaders are strong in their own right, separate worlds but similar goals. The African cats look to make the clans larger, stronger and feel at home. Nothing can go wrong. Right?

The Waijiao Shouwan Streak of tigers is different from others around the world. Although they are lead by a beautiful white tigress Chang, she is willing to accept tigers of other colours to her. With tiger royalty running in her blood, she has no time for games and seeks to make her Streak's name rise. No one will dare mess with the Waijiao Shouwan and no one will dare mess with their queen.

This city is not like one you have visited before. There is darkness lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce when you least expect it. How will the world react when they find out that new laws are being made; old laws broken, bent and shifted? What will they say when suddenly vampires, witches, wizards, fae and lycanthropes now have a seat in congress? Yes... we can make decisions too now.

When marriage rate is low, partners often separate without the formality of divorce.
e.g. Jamaica, where divorce rate is 0.44 per 1000. Guatemala 0.12, Belize 0.17 and Mongolia 0.28 are countries with the lowest divorce rate.

Hell Hollow High

This role play is about the students of Hell Hollow High, the teenagers might look normal, but most of them aren't....they have supernatural abilities. Hell Hollow High focuses on the teen/human side of the characters, there's an supernatural element but it's mainly the everyday drama of the teenagers.

Edward Miller (Sydney & Summer's dad) was in charge of a project subsided by the CIA, dealing with demons (sorta like the initiative at Buffy/ the firm at heroes). They developed something to suck the powers out of demons, and injected them into the children of the employees. They thought it didn't work...until now...
Unfortunately the demons got their powers back at the same time the children gained them.. The demons are out for revenge...

Living is neighbourhood with heavy traffic pollution can lower kids'IQs, a Harvard school of Public Health study has revealed. The effect is as bad as in the case of children whose mothers smoked 10 cigarettes a day while pregnant.

Hi Friends.

According to official Chinese statistic by BDA China, the number of Chinese users are more than 220 million in February-2008 and has surpassed USA as the number 1 nation in number of Internet users. By the end of March, for example, Chinese users climed to 233 million. Percentage wise, the American users are 71% and still exceeds China's 17%.
China is also the world leader in cell phone use.

Welcome to Evrenia, a land filled with magic, war, friendship and betrayal. Evrenia focuses on two kingdoms at the moment- Zantalas
and Gintaras. There are a number of playable races that are also
available for player customization. These include humans, elves,
dwarves, dragons and player created races, such as the
Aen-Elmas and Aen-Valdis. There are various positions open,
from royalty and soldiers to thieves and bounty hunters.

The Plot

Magic is returning in Evrenia.

For over a hundred years it's been barely lingering, only giving the
country's magic users a minimum of power, which has begun weakening
them. No one knows the exact cause of magic's disappearance, but there
are those at the Mage Academy who are researching possibilities.
There is a legend most don't believe about an ancient, lost city that is said to hold the source of magic that is connected to the magic users abilities.

The Council has been discussing sending out volunteers to search
for this lost city and find the source of magic. Who will be brave enough
to step up to the challenge and face whatever the ancient city has to
offer?

Little does the Council know that there is a race of magical beings called
the Aen-Elmas living in the city. Who are these people and where
did they come from? What will happen when their enemies from the
Nephythys Desert suddenly wage a war against the people of
Zantalas as well?

The mages of Zantalas have come to believe their former allies,
the Aen-Elmas, must have disappeared with the destruction of the
magic that bound the gems residing in both nation's capitals. The
Aen-Elmas, however, have lost the power to maintain the enchantment
upon their fabled city, and once again Zantalas--and the Aen-Valdis--may
access it. Will the Aen-Elmas and Zantalians rebuild their alliance before
the Aen-Valdis strike?

The year is 327 in the Age of the Second Sun. Under the reign of a new King, Kyldar is prospering. Well, the nobles are prospering. The people in the Lower City, the tradesmen and the poor folk, are starving. Every last ceur is being squeezed out of them to help finance the King as he goes on his hunting parties or refurbishes his large rooms. But no one complains. They know that if they say a word, they'll be taking a trip to the Dungeons with the King's Guard. No one wants to be put in an underground cell where the torturers are much too fond of their trade. So they keep quiet.

Until now.

There are those who believe that a different King is needed. Factions have started to be organized against the King. Riots have broken out in the streets. The roads of Kyldar are no longer safe to walk. No one knows who to trust, for when the rebels aren't fighting the King's soldiers they're fighting amongst one another. The whole City is in chaos, panic is on every side. Where once it was the land of light and laughter, it now is the City of blood. The City of lies.

Times are changing. The mountains are shaking and roaring, filled with strange beasts. Strangers have begun to make their way into the City. Strangers who some claim to have pointed ears or mismatched eyes. Strangers that have been forgotten and unheard of for a long time. Dangerous strangers. People you want to avoid. Rumor has it that they want to see one of their own on the throne. Yet who knows? Some of the newcomers seem to be helping the rebels, while others have been seen in the King's entourage. Are they working for their own pure gain?

It is impossible to stay on the fence. Those who wish to are dragged down into the battle, whether they like it or not. Which side will win? Anything is possible in

in vanngard witches and wizards abound. everyone can do magic with the
help of runes and magical devices. and because of this, the pangeatic
continent has always been wrought by wizarding wars. these wars have
always been destructive, chaotic and have millions of casualties. and
now, another war is about to happen...

the oldest son of the house of volsung has just been assasinated.
the house of skyld has been accused of carrying out this crime. as
arguably the two most powerful and oldest houses in vanngard clan
after clan has pledged their support to either side in even numbers.
as tension builds between the two sides and old grudges and feuds
are remembered between the combatants in the center of the
continent, the last batch of neutrality is the university. in an
atmosphere of palpable tension, students attend to their studies
under mounting pressures of conflicting loyalties, strained
friendships, fear for their lives, and anticipation of events to come.

and now it seems that the entire continent is on the
brink of destruction.

It's summer 1980. The Marauders are now adult wizards and are now trying to make their way in the world outside Hogwarts. James and Lily are now married and expecting their first child. Remus is trying to scratch a living any way he can. Sirius is still treating life, like it's a permenant holiday and no one really knows what Peter gets up to.

But the carefree times are fast becoming a distant memory, as Dark forces are turning their world upside down. There are constant reports in the Daily Prophet of muggle and wizard families dying or going missing. There are also reports, that an evil Dark wizard known only as You Know Who and his followers are behind these disturbances. Only the brave say his name. Lord Voldemort.

Albus Dumbledore has now called trusted witches and wizards to join his organisation., The Order of the Phoenix. They, along with the Ministry Aurors are the only people who stand between Voldemort and his quest for total power. Will they succeed, as The Phoenix Rises

Dornberger Private School for Secondary Education is an institute near to the river, far from population, which has the reputation of being an elitist school. Only those who are reached out to are actually eligible to apply, and of those many return home unsure of why they were rejected, unaware of what had happened in the school during the admission test. Hence, it is called the school you can never remember.

Dornberger Private School for Secondary Education is actually no school. Inside the premises of the school, exists a secret training ground for future sleepers, assassins, spies, militants and what not. Led by a confederacy of several security organizations and assassin groups, inside the walls exists Special Military Arts Training Program - the desperate struggle by the 'good' underworld to train teenagers to fight off the growing unease of the future, the potential for indiscriminate war and annihilation. No one knows how they find students worthy of fulfilling the task -
but you could be next.

A high school of a kind - combined with acne and prom, death and murder - you just cannot remember it all.
